This policy explains what information diwali.lol collects and how it’s used. The Site is operated by Justin Benito B.

What we collect

• What you put on your lantern: your message, the name you sign it with, and an optional photograph. These are shown publicly on the Site.
• Payment records: Razorpay processes your payment and gives us an order and payment reference. Razorpay collects your phone number and payment details under its own privacy policy. We don’t receive or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• Usage data: we use Google Tag Manager and related analytics tools, which may set cookies and collect information such as pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location.

How we use it

• to display your lantern on the Site and in sharing previews;
• to confirm payments and prevent duplicate or fraudulent orders;
• to understand how the Site is used and improve it.

We don’t sell your information.

Where it’s kept

Lanterns are stored on our server. Photographs are hosted with an image hosting provider (podu.pics). Payments are handled by Razorpay. We keep lanterns for as long as the Site is online, unless you ask us to remove one.

Your choices

You can ask us to remove your lantern, or ask what information we hold about you, by writing to hi@justinbenito.com. Please include the lantern’s link so we can find it. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Children

The Site is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
